Monarch - The Account List - Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you need to easily be able to see the Accounts assigned to you vs. the Accounts that are billing or claimed by other AE's on your team.

As a best practice, you should review your account list regularly to ensure the accuracy of your list.

Access the Account List from the Navigation Panel under Lists on the left-hand side of your screen:

Step 1 - Visibility

When viewing your Accounts you can easily see the Priority, Type, Last Billed Date, Outlet, Office, Agency, Last Billed and Creation Date directly from the list if the information is available.

To see the Outlet, Office and Agency data, click the + sign preceding the Account name that you wish to view.

Sorting - As you review the Account List, keep in mind that you can sort the results by any of the available columns (Pro-tip: sort by the Last Billed column to see Accounts that haven't, or have, bought with you recently).

Filtering - When you need to narrow down your view to a specific segment of Accounts click the to access the filter options:

Select the primary attributes on the left to then uncheck the individual items on the right that you'd like to exclude from your view.

Exporting - To download your List to Microsoft Excel, select the Export icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page. In Microsoft Excel, you are able to print the list and do other functions native to that application.

The Master List - Don't waste time by cold calling an existing Account.  Access the Master List by click on the Master List button.

Check the Master List to see if anyone already owns an Account that you're thinking of calling on, or maybe that Account has history with your company, but nobody is currently working with them. These are easy things to check from this view.

As a best practice, sort on the last billed column to see if there are Accounts assigned to Account Executive no longer with the station.

You may just be able to fine some additional dollars to make budget.
