The goal of this notification is to inform you when new Activities are created from Emails and Calendar Events, over the last 7 days, flowing through Clarity. You can then decide if you want to Delete the Activity, Delete the Activity and Block the Sender, or put a deal together from the Account/Agency on the Activity. A new notification exists in the bell notification feed and will be on by default called “Recently Saved Clarity Activities”.
To view the Recently Saved Clarity Activities notification, please follow the below steps:
1. Click on the Notification bell located on the right top of the page.
2. Look for a new notification that looks like below. Note: If you don't see the new notification, please make sure the notificaiton is enabled. Please see the last section of this page to enable to the noticifation.
3. Clicking into the notification, once Activities from Clarity events are created, will load the expanded view of the notification where you can review the Activities created as well as the Account (If known), Agency (if known), Salesperson, Sender Name, Sender Email, and Date the Activity was created. Any Activities that are created by Clarity, whether originating from an Email or Calendar Event, will display on this notification
4. Click Actions button for each activity. You have Actions that you can take on the Activities here.
- Add Deal – Create a deal for the Account and/or Agency on the Activity. This will only add the deal for Prospects and Billing Accounts. Leads cannot have Deals.
- Delete Activity – This will delete the Activity but it will allow any future activities to be created by the sender. If the Activity is part of a series (often recurring meetings where you place events on your calendar for just yourself such as lunch, prep times, etc) we will also inform you that the activity you are trying to delete is part of a series and give you the option to delete and block the entire series or continue with deleting just that one activity in the series without blocking it.
- Block Contact and Delete Activity – This will delete the Activity and it will add the Contact to the Block List. If there is more than one activity where the person being blocked is affiliated to then you can also, optionally, delete those other Activities with that person in a single click in this workflow. *TIP* We recommend that you work through the Potential Contacts notifications first before working through the Recently Created Clarity Activities workflow. It will make cleaning up for future activities much easier.
The listing of Recently Saved Clarity Activities can be downloaded to CSV file by clicking on the download button in the top right
To enabled Recently Saved Clarity Activities notification, please following the below steps:
1. Click on the Notification bell located on the right top of the page.
2. Click the gear icon.
3. Select Default Notificaitons tab.
4. Make sure the Recently Saved Clarity Activities is set to On.
5. Please log out by clicking your name on the top right and select and Logout. Then login again to activate. This will activate the notification.
