N/A on Pending
Accounts assigned to a Revenue Type of N/A are a result of no Revenue Type being selected when Pending was entered on the Deal. On the Deal profile, if you leave the Rev type field blank, the Account's pending is automatically assigned to N/A rev type.
For example, on Forecast Report, there is a N/A line under the Rev type that has $25,000 Pending for Lindsay Sutton. This means Lindsay has one or more Deals totaling $25K that do not have a Revenue Type selected on the Deal profiles.
The Report does not want to exclude Pending Dollars since it is part of Lindsay’s Pending/Forecasting totals, so it puts this on N/A line so it can roll up with her overall Totals.
Another example, on Sales Outlook, “Rev Type” is selected as the Display. The N/A line shows $25,000 for Pending for Lindsay’s Rev Types. Again, this means Lindsay has one or more Deals totaling $25K that do not have a Revenue Type selected on the Deal Profiles.Sales Outlook includes this amount on the N/A line since it is part of Lindsay’s Pending/Forecasting totals.
To remove the N/A rev type from reports or Sales Outlooks, you will need to select the Rev Types on the Deal profiles. Please follow the below steps.
1. Navigate to Reports on the left navigation pane, click Forecast & Deals tab, and Forecast Report.
2. Set Deals as the hierarhcy and select This Year for Time Frame. Note: you may adjust the time frame in the report as desired e.g. Month + 2, Quarterly, etc.
3. Click Filters tab, Rev types filter, then select only N/A and click Run button.
4. On the report, right-click on the Deal name and select Open link in new tab. This will bring the Deal profile. Please select the Rev type for each outlet on the Deal profile. Please do this step for each the Deal name that show on the report.
Onec you have selected the Rev types for all Deal names on the report, you might need to rerun the report one more time to make sure that there is no result returned.
To prevent this issue to happen again in the future, we highly suggest setting up the deal defaults. Please click here for the instruction.
N/A on Budget
You may see your budget number assigned to N/A. This is a result of how your Corporate set up a buget template. For example, your Corperate sets up a budget template as Outlets > Offices > Salespeople > Rev types. When you pull out the Budget report or Sales Outlook, you may see that your budget number is assigned to N/A for the Agency as shown in the below screen shot. This happens because budget numbers are only assigned to Outlets, Offices, Salespeople and Rev types per your budget template. Therefore, any entities such as Agency and Account that are not included in the budget template will show N/A for budget numbers.
