Monarch - N/A Explained

Are you showing N/A in Reports or Sales Outlook when viewing by Rev Types, Agencies or any other lines? Please read on for an explanation of why this happens.

For example, look at the Forecast Report below.

For “Rev Type” there is a N/A line that has $25,000 Pending for Lindsay Sutton. This means Lindsay has one or more Deals totaling $25K that do not have a Revenue Type selected within the Deal.

The Report does not want to exclude Pending Dollars since it is part of Lindsay’s Pending/Forecasting totals, so it puts it on this N/A line so it can roll up with her overall Totals.

Below is a Sales Outlook example.

“Rev Type” is selected as the Display.

The N/A line shows $25,000 for Pending for Lindsay’s Rev Types. Again, this means Lindsay has one or more Deals totaling $25K that do not have a Revenue Type selected within the Deal.

Same as with the Reports. Sales Outlook includes this amount on the N/A line since it is part of Lindsay’s Pending/Forecasting totals.

Here are some examples of N/A showing for Budget Totals.

The N/A line shows $4mil+ Total Budget for Lindsay Sutton’s Agencies in the Budget Report. Since you are viewing the Agency line this means Lindsay does not have any Budget Totals on any Agency.

The Report does not want to exclude this since it is part of Lindsay’s Budget, so it puts it on the N/A line so it can roll up with her overall Totals.

Same for Sales Outlook. “Agency” is selected as the Display. The N/A line has the $4mil+ for Agency.

Again, Sales Outlook wants to include this amount since it is still part of Lindsay’s Budget totals, so it puts it on the N/A line so it can roll up with her overall Totals.
