Monarch - Agency and Account Relationship Overview

Agency Relationships with Accounts
There are thousands of Agencies in the world, but do you know which companies they are representing and handling various parts of the advertising process for? Monarch desires to make it easier for you to understand which accounts each Agency represents, be it a prospect or regularly spending one, as well as recent and next steps with each business. Let’s work together to not be left out in the cold with business you may have forgotten about over the year!

Understanding The Status with the Agency Itself
Not every Activity or Deal that you put together is going to be for an Advertiser. If you do enough business with large enough Agencies you will have Activities and Deals that are just for the Agency itself and as time goes on the Advertiser (or more likely Advertisers) will manifest themselves in detail.

Description automatically generatedThe Agency Profile handles for this by showing you the Last and Next Activity that you had with just the Agency itself as well as the Total pending for this Agency while on any tab via 3 boxes on the left.

 An activity box will be colored yellow if the activity is incomplete and green if it is complete. If an no activity has been planned, a call to action yellow box will also display in the Next Activity allowing you to click into it in order to schedule one.

Total pending will show the amount pending for the Agency that is not yet attributed to a specific Advertiser. If there are no deals, another call to action will display here allowing you to click in and setup a quick deal. While there is pending, you can click on the “$” and view the pending deal(s) in order to edit them via a quick deal.

If you wish to see the Activities or Pending for the Agency against a specific Account, then you will need to view the Summary tab which outlines these values for the Billing and Non-Billing relationships that exist today (see below)


Understanding Billing Account Relationships with the Agency

On the Summary tab of the Agency Profile, you will see a Billing Relationships section. This lists all the Accounts that are spending money with you already. Below that will be Prospecting Relationships for accounts that are not yet spending money with you.

Each Account can have a Last Activity, Next Activity, and Pending. It’s important to understand that Activities and Deals must both be associated with the Account in view here as well as the Agency that you are on the profile for. If the Activity or Deal does not have both then it will not display here.

If you have already had an Activity you can click on it to view the Activity Profile page and edit the activity or review what transpired. If you do not yet have a future activity planned, you can click the yellow back to add an activity just like you would from the global Add menu. We will fill in the Account and Agency for you, but you will need to put in the details.

If you already have one or more deals pending, then you will also see those in the Total Pending section for the total amount of the deal(s) as well as the number of deals it represents. Clicking into this section will display the individual deals allowing you to edit them via the Quick Deal functionality so that you remain on the Agency Profile tab. You can also view the full deal profile if you desire.

Updates to this section are immediate and the page will display your information momentarily after the changes are received.

Understanding Prospecting Account Relationships with the Agency

On the Summary tab of the Agency Profile, you will see a Prospecting section. This lists all the Accounts that have not yet spent money with you, but you have shown intent to work with this agency for. Above this are Billing Relationships for the Accounts that have spent money with you from this Agency.

Each Account can have a Last Activity, Next Activity, and Pending. It’s important to understand that Activities and Deals must both be associated with the Account in view here as well as the Agency that you are on the profile for. If the Activity or Deal does not have both then it will not display here.
