Monarch - Contact is missing when Adding or Updating Deal

You may receive the message of missing contact information while you try to add a new Deal or update a Deal. This means that Contact on Account or Agency profile is missing the below information or there is no Contact on on Account or Agency profile. 

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Title
  • Email
  • Primary Phone

Note that you may have multiple Contacts on the Account profile, but the error message still shows because none of the Contacts have First Name, Last Name, Title, Email, and Primary Phone filled in.

There are three different types of missing contact information messages:

  • Message with Account or Agency name.

  • Message with Contact name(s).

  • Message with No Account, Agency or Contact name.

 

Please follow the below steps to fill out the information to correct each message:

Message with Account or Agency name. 

1. Click on the Account or Agency name on the error message. Per below screen shot, New Business Advertiser(Account name) should be clicked. This will bring up the Account profiles

2. Click Contacts tab on Account or Agency profile. Check if there is any Contact listed there.

3. If there is at least one contact on the Account or Agency Profile, please follow the below steps. However, if there is no Contact on the Account or Agency profile, please skip the below steps and proceed to the step#4

  • Click on the Contact name. This will bring up a Contact Profile.

  • On the Contact Profile, click a little pencil icon next to the Contact name. 

  • Make sure First Name, Last Name, Title, Email, and Primary Phone have been filled out. 
  • Check the radio button next to the one of the phone numbers that you have filled out to make it Primary Phone.  
  • Then click Save button.

4. If there is no contact on the Account or Agency Profile, please follow the below steps:

  • Cilck (+) Add button on the right top of the page and select Contact

  • Fill out First Name, Last Name, Title, Company(Account or Agency name) Email, and Primary Phone. 
  • Check the radio button next to the phone number that you have filled out to make it Primary Phone. 
  • Click Save button. 

Message with Contact name(s)

This means you have some Contacts on the Deal profile but some of their information are missing. You will need to fill out the missing information on one of the contacts to pass the validation. To fill out the missing information,

1. Click one of the Contact names on the error message. This will bring up their profile.

2. On the Contact profile, click a little pencil icon next to the Contact name. Then please make sure First Name, Last Name, Title, Email, and Primary Phone have been filled out. Please also check the radio button next to the one of the phone numbers that you have filled out to make it Primary Phone.  Then click Save button and navigate back to the Deal Profile.


Message with No Account, Agency or Contact name


This means you have NO Contact on the Deal profile. 

To add a Contact into the Deal Profile, please follow the below steps.


1. On the Deal profile, navigate to Contacts Pod on the Deal profile which is located below the Revenue Comparison pod. 

Note: if you are on the Deal Quick Edit dialog, click on the View Full Profile button to bring up the Deal Profile. Then please navigate to Contacts Pod on the Deal profile.

2. Hover your mouse on the Contacts pod. Then you should see the plus sign(+) on the right top of the pod. Click on the plus sign(+). Then the Add Contacts to Deal dialog will show. 

3. On the Add Contacts to Deal dialog, If there is at least one Contact shown on the Add Contacts to Deal dialog, please follow the below steps. If there is no Contact, please proceed to step#4

  • click on the checkbox(ex) next to the Contact name(s) that you wish to add into the Deal profile and then click Add button.
  • Once the Contact(s) is added into the Contacts Pod, please check if First Name, Last Name, Title, Email, and Primary Phone have shown on the Pod. If one of these information is missing, click the Contact name to bring up the Contact profile.

  • On the Contact Profile, click a little pencil icon next to the Contact Name and then fill out the missing information. Please make sure that First Name, Last Name, Title, Email, and Primary Phone have been filled out. Please also check the radio button next to the one of the phone numbers that you have filled out to make it Primary Phone and click Save button.

4. On the Add Contacts to Deal dialog, If there is NO contact shown on the Add Contacts to Deal dialog, you will need to add a Contact into Account or Agency profile that is associated to the Deal. Then add that Contact into the Deal profile. To do this, please follow the below steps: 

  • Cilck (+) Add button on the right top of the page and select Contact.

  • Please fill out First Name, Last Name, Title, Company Name (Account or Agency that deal is associated to) Email, and Primary Phone. Also, check the radio button next to the one of the phone numbers that you have filled out to make it Primary Phone.  Then click Save button. Once you click Save button, the Contact profile will show.

  • Click Back button on the right top of the screen to go back to the previous page which is Deal profile.

  • On the Deal profile, navigate to the Contacts pod and hover your mouse on the Contacts pod. Then you should see the plus sign(+) on the right top of the pod. Click the plus sign(+). Then the Add Contacts to Deal dialog will show. 

  • on the Add Contacts to Deal dialog, please click on the checkbox(es) next to the Contact name(s) that you wish to add into the Deal profile and then click Add button.
