Access the TMS Resource Report from the Reports -> Forecast & Deals tab on the Reports page. The goal of this report is to help users understand how many deals and how much revenue is generated as a result of influence from TMS Support.
When running the report you will have the ability to choose your hierarchy*, set a time frame, and adjust filters.
It is important to note that this report should NOT be treated like your actual forecast. This will likely NEVER match a Forecast report as we are only interested in representing the dollars that reconciled a deal at some point in the time frame.
For example:
- I have a deal for $5000 attributed to Material from TMS Library. On this report, that $5,000 will display under the TMS Resource Material from TMS Library in Pending. If $4,000 is booked and reconciles this deal then we will display $4,000 booked for Material from TMS Library and $1,000 remaining pending for Material from TMS Library (auto zero out threshold considered after reconciliation).
- I have a deal for $5000 with no TMS value assigned. $5,000 will display under the “No TMS Resource Was Identified” (meaning the user made no TMS selection) value. If $7,000 booked reconciles this deal then we will display $5,000 booked under No TMS Resource Was Identified” and $0 remaining pending under No TMS Resource Was Identified. The remaining $2,000 booked is not part of this report as it is detailing the amount reconciling deals.
- I have a deal for $5000 with Support from TMS Strategist assigned. The deal is never reconciled by booked dollars (something didn’t match perfectly from booked to the deal). The deal $5000 will remain pending on the report under Support from TMS Strategist until zeroed out or closed out.
- I have a deal for $5000 with None selected for a TMS value. $5000 will display under None on the report in pending. The deal is manually closed won. The $5000 will no longer display under None in Pending, and will no longer display on this report.
Additionally the report can be set as a Favorite, shared with other users, and downloaded to Excel/CSV formats.
*Setting the hierarchy is coming soon – for now the Hierarchy is fixed at Market -> Salesperson -> TMS Resource -> Account.
